The Shortage vs. Abundance

Shortage vs. Abundance has little to do with money and everything to do with attitude. Living in scarcity means accepting your circumstances and believing you can’t change them. When you worry about what you don’t want to happen, you begin to attract those very things that dull the senses to any kind of innovative solutions to the problems.

Those who live in scarcity or shortage cannot recognize the good things they have, such as their family, a home, and friends, - it’s a long list, and instead they see only family problems, the mortgaged, strained friendships, downside of every good thing. – Usually live with fear: fear of failure (even if they haven’t failed), fear of success and fear of the unknown.

If you are one of those who fearfully live in scarcity – and there are millions who do. – The things you most want in life will remain out of reach until you learn to live in abundance.

“Fear is created because the human mind naturally seeks the familiar and avoids the unknown.” And instead of seeing all of the possibilities (living in abundance), we see only mistakes we don’t want to repeat (living in scarcity).

“Abundance is a fullness of life, regardless of income”. When you live in abundance you are not governed by fear or doubt and you can reach whatever goals you set in your life.

“Living in scarcity cannot solve problems, neither can it recognized opportunities.”

The law of abundance means that whether or not you sign that prospect or close that deal, your life will not change for better or worse immediately because you’re prepared.

“God would not give you the dream, or the desire in your heart, if He did not also give you the talent and abilities to make that dream come true.”

The moment one commits oneself, and then providence moves, too.

Insight is just looking inside ourselves to see what we already know, to remember what’s already there and retrieve it. All kinds of distractions literally force themselves on our time, energy and attention everyday.

Discipline is simply remembering what you want. Self-discipline just might be the most critical factor in any kind of success or achievement, it is created by routine. Develop a routine that allows you to use your time most efficiently.

It’s not a matter of who you know, but who you’re willing to meet. Every time you create an opportunity for another person, other opportunities spin off and touch other lives that touch other lives. Every time you add someone new to your circle, you add his or her entire circle to your network.

“I believe inside of each of us is a God given potential to do really great things. There’s something inside each one of us, something big, something important.”

Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not, nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Geniuses will not, unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Educations will not, this world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination along are omnipotent powerful.

Take a minute to look at your day and compare it with your schedule, continually re-evaluating. Commit your daily task list to paper so you have it constantly in front of you.

“Nothing is as real as a dream. The world can change around you but your dream will not.”

"Everything we do is difficult in the middle.” The trick is to force ourselves into action so we can get past the middle to the success that is waiting on the far side.

“Miracles are everywhere, the trick is to see them.”

How about you? Are you living in Scarcity or in Abundance?
